Malvern Hills practice walk

What a brilliant days it was yesterday.  Paul, Tim, Richard and Andrew set off at just after 07:30 to meet up with Russ, Dawn and Lol to walk the beautiful Malvern Hills.  For me it was the first time I have walked them, as I couldn't make it when the team walked them last year, and I was astonished by their natural beauty.....and I'm not talking about Jacko's legs!

I hopped in Richard's car to accompany him their, and the lovely Brian Blessed on the Sat nav.... :-D  "in 700 yards, at the next junction TURN LEFT!

It was lucky though that we had Brian on the Sat Nav, because Tim's 50 year old Sat Nav was on the brink, so much so Tim had to retrieve his road map from the boot of his car.

We eventually made it to the Car park where Russ, Dawn and Lol were awaiting our arrival. (Dawn and Lol had already moved on up ahead)

The day started off a little cloudy, but it was nice and warm, and by the time we had reached the tea rooms, the sun was starting to break through.  It was very busy and the Malvern's we're packed with cyclists, runners, General ramblers, and families. It was wonderful to see England and Wales so close together in such stunning surroundings.

I won't go on but will be blogging every day on the walk in more detail with our eagerly anticipated stories ;-)

Photos will follow from our most recent walk.
